Åldersklass
Pojkar och flickor födda 2011 eller senare.

Domare
Alla matcher döms av utbildade föreningsdomare från Nybro Vikings med tvådomarsystem.

Poängberäkning
Vinst 2 poäng, oavgjort 1 poäng, förlust 0 poäng.

Tabellsortering
1: Poäng, 2: Inbördes möten, 3: Målskillnad, 4: Flest gjorda mål.
  
Slutspelsmatcher 
Vid oavgjort resultat efter full tid i slutspelsmatcher gäller avgörande genom 3 skiljestraffar för vardera lag. Respektive lag utser 3 straffläggare. Därefter gäller "sudden death" straffar.

Matchtid
2 x 15 minuter effektiv tid. Flygande byten. Helplan. 
Uppvärmning sker på is i mån av tid i annat fall utanför isen.

Närkampsspel
Tacklingar är tillåtna.

Utvisningar
2 / 5 minuter utvisningar.

Tröjfärg
Vid lika tröjfärg byter bortalaget.

Resultat
Cupen använder sig av Cuponlines tjänster för fortlöpande resultatrapportering.

Kränkande behandling
Tävlingsledaren har rätt att avvisa person från ishallen som uppträder kränkande eller hotfullt. Detta gäller såväl under som mellan matcher (Svenska Ishockeyförbundets regler).

Ordningsregler i arenan
Inget spel med klubbor i arenan.
Innan matchstart skall ismaskinen ha lämnat isen och portarna stängts innan spelare får beträda isen. 
Efter match skall lagen tacka varandra och lämna isen omgående.
Gör rent skor så att grus mm inte hamnar i korridorerna.
Efter avslutad turnering skall omklädningsrummen sopas och göras rent.

Competition regulations for Viking Cup 2023
According to the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation's game rules and below:

Age Range
Boys and girls born in 2011 or later.

Referees 
All matches are refereed by trained association referees from Nybro Vikings with a two-referee system.

Score Calculation
Win 2 points, draw 1 point, loss 0 points.

Table Sorting
1: Points, 2: Head-to-head meetings, 3: Goal difference, 4: Most goals scored.
  
Playoff Matches
In the event of a tie after full time in playoff matches, the decision is made by three penalty shots for each team.
Each team appoints three penalty takers. After that, "sudden death" penalties apply.

Match Time
2 x 15 minutes effective time. Flying prey. Full plan.
Warm-up takes place on ice depending on time, otherwise outside the ice.

Tackles
Tackles are allowed.

Penalties
2 and 5 minutes penalties.

Jersey Color
If the jersey color is the same, the away team changes.

Results
The cup uses Cuponline's services for continuous result reporting.

Offensive Treatment
The Cup Management has the right to reject a person from the ice rink who behaves offensively or threateningly. This applies both during and between matches (Swedish Ice Hockey Association rules).

Rules of order in the arena
No play with hockey sticks in the arena.
Before the start of the match, the ice machine must have left the ice and the gates must have been closed before players can enter the ice.
After the match, the teams must thank each other and then leave the ice immediately.
Clean shoes so that gravel etc. does not end up in the corridors.
After the Cup, the changing rooms must be swept and cleaned.
