2 x Panters vs. Viikingit

It was a fan pair of games going on at the same time on different ice rinks. It was not just team against team, but club agains club action out there. Two teams of Helsinki Viikingit (Red & White) met two teams of HC Panters (Red & Black).
And what a game was the right expression - on both matches involved. HC Panter Black was pressuring hard against Viiking Red. Shots were heavily in favour of hosts, but tremmendous game in the net by Akseli Tirronen, kept the guys from North alive. And then the chance was there and Viikingit team striked. Twice. Ville Holopainen and Jaako Hannula gave guests nice 2-0 lead in first half of the game. Panter Black team came even stronger out in the second. Aleksander Raado Raado scored, but only once. Tirronen ruled and first half of the battle belonged to Viikingit. The game betweern HC Panter Red and Viikingit white was very much alike. Two goals in the first half by Iiro Hintikka & Niko Linden gave the guests a comfortable lead. And fantastic play by goalie Miko Jaakola saved the day for kids from Helsinki. His shutout was spectacular and double victory was salted by the Viiking hockey boys.
