1. ORGANIZATION OT TOURNAMENT
£odzki Klub Hokejowy (Lodz Ice Hockey Club) is the organizer of the tournament.
President of the Province Lodz and MOSiR £ód¼ are the co-organizers.

2. PARTICIPANTS OF TOURNAMENT
The tournament is for players born in 2002 or later from the following teams:
Maple Leafs 2013 (Canada)
HK Brest (Belarus)
Zarechie 2002 Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia)
HK Daugavpils (Latvia)
Feniks 02 Kaliningrad (Russia)
HK Poprad (Slovakia)
MHA Martin (Slovakia)
Poland 2002 (Poland)
UKH Unia O¶wiêcim (Poland)
£KH £ód¼ (Poland)

3. DATES OF TOURNAMENT
The event will be held from 15th to 17th November 2013
The exact times of each game will be given in the program of the tournament.

4. VENUE OF TOURNAMENT
The competition will be held at two ice rinks: the ice rink 'Retkinia' at 13b Popie³uszki Street and at the ice rink 'Bombonierka' at 28 Stefanowskiego Street.

5. TEAMS
 Each team should consist of up to 22 athletes (15-20 players, 2 goalkeepers).
 Participants must be born in 2002 or later.
 It is possible for up to 3 players born in 2001 in a team to take part in the tournament. The players should not be taller than the players born in 2002 and should not have better hockey abilities.
 The manager of each team should present the following documents to the Technical Committee before the start of the tournament:
i. the completed team rooster with first and last names and game numbers
ii. the actual medical statement of each athlete
iii. for Polish players: PZHL Registration Cards or school cards
iv. for foreign players: copy of the passport

6. REGULATIONS OF TOURNAMENT
 all games consist of two (2x) 20 minutes periods with the stopwatch
 ice cleaning is after each match
 5 minute warm-up is provided without pucks on the ice before the game
 in case of a draw a series of penalty shots will make the decision
 body checking is allowed
 3 points are awarded for a WIN
 2 points are awarded for a WIN after penalty shots
 1 point is awarded for a LOSS after penalty shots
 if the goal difference is higher than 5 goals the match can be played at running time. If the goal difference is reduced to 2 goals the game is continued with the game stop time.
Preliminary round
preliminary round will be held on Friday 15th November and Saturday 16th November
teams will be divided into two groups, each of 5 teams. The group B will play at the ice rink 'Bombonierka' whereas group R will play at the ice rink 'Retkinia”.
It is a round robin tournament i.e. all-play-all tournament
after the preliminary round the teams will be evaluated according to the gained points
in case of a tie i.e. the equal points gained by two or more teams, the following will decide:
a) in case of two teams:
 the points gained in the match between the teams
 the number of the goals scored in the match between the teams
 the difference of goals scored and missed in all the matches
 higher number of goals scored in the tournament
b) in case of more than two teams
 the Technical Committee will prepare an additional grading scale based solely on the matches of the teams
 if the grading scale shows that two teams gained the same number of points the procedures a) the case of two teams are applied
c) if after applying procedures from a) and b) it is not possible to establish the order of the teams in each group, the Technical Committee in the presence of the representatives of the teams organizes a draw
Knock out match i.e. a match for playing in the final group A
The teams that are placed on the 3rd place on the grading scale in each group play a knock out match for entering the final group A. The team that loses the match plays in the group B in the final round. The match will be played at the ice rink 'Retkinia' on Saturday 16th November at 5 p.m.
Final round
The final round will start on Saturday from 6.30 p.m. and continue on Sunday
The two teams with the most points gained in each group and the winning team of the knock out match will play in FINAL GROUP A. The matches will be held at the ice rink 'Bombonierka'.
The two teams that are placed 4th and 5th on the grading scale after the preliminary round and the team that lost the knock out match will take part in FINAL GROUP B. The matches will be held at the ice rink 'Retkinia'.
The final round is also played in a round robin system.
To the group rankings are also added the results from the preliminary round except from the points gained in the games FA1-FA3 ,FB2-FB4 played in the preliminary round. These matches will be played again on Sunday.
Here is the marking of the teams in the final round:
FINAL GROUP A:
FA1- the team that is ranked 1st in the group in which the winner of the knock out match played
FA2- the team that is ranked 1st in the group in which the lost of the knock out match played
FA3-the team that is ranked 2nd in the group in which the winner of the knock out match played
FA4-the team that is ranked 2nd in the group in which the lost of the knock out match played
FA5- the winner of the knock out match
FINAL GROUP B:
FB1-the team that is ranked 4th in the group in which the winner of the knock out match played
FB2-the team that is ranked 4th in the group in which the lost of the knock out match played
FB3- the team that is ranked 5th in the group in which the winner of the knock out match played
FB4- the team that is ranked 5th in the group in which the lost of the knock out match played
FB5- the lost of the knock out match
all games consist of two (2x) 20 minutes periods with the stopwatch
in case of a draw a series of penalty shots will make the decision
Awards at the end of the tournament go to:
 3 best goal keepers
 best forward player
 best defender
 best player of the tournament
 best player from £KH team
7. REGULATIONS
Each match is supported by two referees.
IIHF and PZHL regulation are applied in the tournament.
The player who received a match penalty is suspended from the rest of the tournament.
The player who received 2 10minute penalties is suspended from one match.
8. TECHICAL COMMITEE
The organizers of the tournament appoint the Technical Committee:
 Maciej Lewy

 Ewa Kamiñska
The Technical Committee announces the results and the points gained at the end of each day and presents the announcement to the representatives of each team.
The Technical Committee is also to consider written protests. Each protest shoud go with the deposit of 200 PLN. In case of a positive verdict, the deposit is returned. In case of a negative verdict, the deposit is kept.
The decisions of the Technical Committee are final.
AWARD CEREMONY
At the end of the tournament the following awards go to:
The players of the three best teams receive medals.
Each team gets a cup.
Three best goal keepers get cups.
Winners of the individual categories get statuettes.
All participants get diplomas and small gifts.
10. FINAL REMARKS
The organizer has the right to final interpretations of the regulations of the tournament.
