DAY 1 - Round Robin:
8 teams in two round-robin groups consisting of 4 teams each. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie. All games finish with 3 rounds of penalty shots for a “bonus point” (simultaneously on both nets). Tie standing in the group is decided by bonus points, goal difference, most goals scored, least goals allowed, least penalty minutes and coin toss. Standard Swedish rules applies with exception of:
(a) No penalties – instead a “pressure penalty shot” taken by the offended player who starts on the whistle from the red line with all other players starting on their knees from the blue line behind. Game clock and normal play starts when the puck is touch
(b) “Gretzky rule” is applied meaning no player is allowed to score more than 3 goals in one game. A fourth goal will be disallowed and the player in questions gets a 5 minute misconduct penalty.

DAY 2 - Play Offs:
All teams start in the championship play-offs with a quarter final game and finish the tournament by playing a deciding ”championship game”. Play-offs played in full according to Swedish standard rules meaning penalties as normal and no Gretzky rule applied. If a play-off game ends with a tie a 4-4, 3-3, 2-2 (one minute each) is played until one team scores.

Summary: In total 6 guaranteed games (3 per day and team). Game time is always 2x20 minutes (stop time).
