GAME TERMS & RULES
Eight teams are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. Each team in group A will face each team in group B and vice versa. After the four initial games a table is calculated for each group according to the number of points. Winning team gets two points, losing team gets no points. Each team gets one point at tied game. If two or more teams end up at with the same number of points, the following is used to decide the order.
1.Goal difference
2.Goals
3.Goals against
4.Mutual game result
5.Least number of penalty minutes
6.Lottery

The first and second team in each group will now face the third and the forth team in the same group in two new games. This means that you will play at least six games against different opponents. A new overall table is calculated including all six games and according to the same parameters as before. The third and forth team in this table will play a bronze game for third position overall and the first and the second team will play a gold game for the win.

The Swedish Icehockey Association rules apply to every game.

PLAYING TIME
All games are played 2x20min with flooding (ice care) between each game. A short break on the ice is permitted during intermission. The schedule is tight and requires discipline from all participants. Please make every effort so that we can start the games on time. If required, part of the game can be played without the game time being stopped.

REFEREES
All games are judged by two referees. The referee decision cannot be overruled, neither can any decision from the tournament management.

MEDAL GAMES
These games cannot finish with a tie. If the game is at a tie at full time, there will be a sudden death period of maximum 5 minutes. If there still is a tie after that, there will be three penalty shots from each team from three different players. If there still is a tie after that, there will be one penalty shot from each team, any player, until a win is decided.
