Set up
U11 tournament will be played by players
born in 2008 or later.
A minimum of sixteen (16) players need to
be registered in the tournament. A maximum of twenty-three (23) players
(including 3 net minders) may be registered and play in the tournament unless
otherwise agreed and authorized by the tournament organizers. Also, a maximum
of 5 coaches, managers etc are allowed per team (unless otherwise agreed).
A Completed team sheets (printed)
including updated jersey numbers and player names (and position if applicable)
will be handed to the representative of the Tournament Secretary not later than
60 minutes before the first game of the tournament for each individual team.
No players can be added anymore to the
team sheet after the first game of an individual team. All players must be
registered before your first game even if they only play on 1 day.
Every team must be dressed and ready to
take to the ice 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF THEIR GAME. Failure to be ready
may result in the offending team losing the points and the game awarded 5 – 0
to their opponents. The decision is up to the Tournament Committee.
The first named team will be the HOME
TEAM. Home teams play in dark colored shirts, away teams in light colored
shirts.
The first mentioned team (home team) must
take place in the players-box, which is the closest one to the game-clock.
Preliminary round
All teams will play five (5) preliminary
round games according to the set schedule. The playing time is 2x12 minutes
with a 60 second break between the periods. Games
can end in a draw.
The clock will be stopped at every
whistle.
Maximum time per 2x12 game is 40 minutes
including “warming up”.
No time outs allowed during the
preliminary round.
No on-ice warming during the preliminary
round.
After the preliminary round the number one
seeded will be the team who has accumulated the most points. Team seeding will
be calculated in descending points order. In the event of a tie rule "1"
– "6" shall apply.
1. Points - Three (3) points for a WIN,
one (1) for a DRAW.

4. Head to Head winner

6. Fewest penalty minutes in preliminary
round
Playoffs
5th and 6th in each group go to B playoffs. 1-4 in each group goes to A
playoffs.
B-playoffs: Semifinals with elimination and B-final.
A-playoffs: Quarterfinals with elimination, semi-finals, match for 3rd
prize and A-final.
In case if a draw after full time, A three (3)-minute overtime will
follow a tied playoff game (on a 4 against 4 basis + goalies). If still a tie,
a three-round shootout with simultaneous shooting. if still a TIE series
continues with 1 per team until a winner can be established. Any dressed player
(except those with a game-/match penalty drawn) is allowed to take a penalty
shot. In case of a tie all available players can take a penalty shot, but only
one time during elimination until all dressed players have shot.
The clock will be stopped at every whistle.
Maximum time per 2x15 game is 50 minutes
including “warming up”).
One thirty (30) second time out per team
allowed during the playoffs
On-ice warming only permitted if there is
enough time for it during the playoffs
Penalties
U11-rules
No tackles
The following penalties will apply:
Minor penalties – 1 minute (note that we,
because of technical limitations, will not show the penalty time on the Clock).
Major penalties – 5 minutes
Misconduct -10 minutes (personal)
Game Misconduct: Player incurring a Game
Misconduct Penalty will be excluded for the rest of the game. In case of a 2nd
Game Misconduct Penalty for the same player during the tournament this player
will be automatically suspended for the next game in the tournament.
A player who incurs a Match Penalty will
be automatically suspended for the next game of the tournament. In case of a
2nd Match Penalty for the same player during the tournament this player will be
automatically suspended for the rest of the tournament.
Other regulations
Damage caused by players or visitors will
be on their own expenses. Tournament organizers or the ice rink is not responsible.
Sticks may not be used (off-ice) at the complex, but only be used (on-ice)
during the games.
In case of misbehaviour the player(s)
concerned will be excluded for the remaining games of the tournament.
Only players and coaches mentioned on the
Team Sheets will have access to the dressing room. After using the dressing
room, it should be left behind clean.
Whilst every endeavor will be made by the
arenas to provide secure rooms, any loss or damage to players kit and property
is the responsibility of the individual player or their Team Official.
THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE WILL MAKE A
(BINDING) DECISION IN CASES WHICH ARE NOT COVERED BY THE TOURNAMENT RULES.
