The Guldcupen is this year played for the 22th time, and this year it is for players born in year 2003 or later.
The tournament will be held at the main rink and adjacent practice rinks in the Skellefteå Kraft Arena complex.
Rinks: Skellefteå Kraft Arena A-hall, B-hall and the new hall C.
Format: 20 teams divided into five groups. A first round/classification games and a second round with placement games and championship games/finals.
Playing Time: 2 x 15 minutes
Roster age exception: Only "social” exceptions will be approved for players born in year 2002
Policy: Swedish Ice Hockey Federation rules § 5: 7 B
If a second round game ends in a tie the following tie-breking procedure will follow, a 5 minute sudden death and a shootout (if needed).
Prizes: Trophy cups for 1st-4th team. Small trophies to all players
Registration fee: 7500SEK per team must be paid immediately after the registration is confirmed to plusgiro 490 37 57-5 to ensure your participation in the tournament.
Participation fee: 600SEK per team player and per team coaches must be paid a week before the tournament to the above plusgiro. NOTE! No discount is given on the charges in the choice of accommodations (see Accommodation below). The fees include participation in the tournament, as well as board and lodging in schoolrooms.
Food: Served in Skellefteå Kraft Arena
The participation fee includes:
Fri: dinner, late supper,
Sat: breakfast, lunch, dinner, late supper ,
Sun: breakfast, lunch
There is the possibility of accompanying to buy food.
Included accommodation: In schoolrooms at Norrhammarskolan, located nearby the rinks.
