Bauer AAA Invite to Expand to Europe
(Chicago, IL) – The Bauer International AAA Invite Tournament is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Bauer Hockey in the Nordics to expand to Europe for what will now become the Bauer EURO Invite. The Bauer International AAA Invite (in Chicago) is truly a global event,” said Kevin Mann, president and director, Bauer Hockey International Invite. “The Euro event (in Stockholm) will soon become another destination tournament for teams of all ages from around the world.”
This showcase will see the best hockey players and teams in the world convene and compete August 9-16, 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden. Stockholm is the largest city in Sweden and is known for its beauty, its buildings and architecture, its abundant open water and many parks. It is sometimes referred to as Venice of the North. Stockholm is the second most visited city in all of the Nordic countries.
The competition level of this tournament will be second to none as other countries have already made it a huge priority to attend this event. We have already solidified the top Swedish, Russian, Czech, Finnish and North American teams attend. These clubs include the Russian Red Army, HC Sparta Prague Czech Republic, AIK, Stocksund, Taby, Lidingo, Huddinge, Trangsunds, Espo Finland, and the USA Bauer Selects.
Bauer Hockey recently announced a long-term partnership with the event to be the title sponsor and will provide a variety of promotions, product demonstrations, player gifts and MVP awards for all players. Throughout the tournament, Bauer Hockey will be visiting 6 different ice rinks where 48 teams will compete for the championship title in their respective division. Most importantly for the tournament teams, players, coaches and parents, the Bauer Euro Invite will provide exactly the same benefits, services and execution as the highly regarded Bauer International AAA Invite which is one of Bauer’s crowning grassroots events held annually in Chicago every November.

Any North American AAA team (from either the US or Canada) interested in attending should contact Kevin Mann at the information listed below. North American teams typically will depart on either Sunday, August 8th or Monday, August 9th and return the following Monday, August 16th. Our office staff at World Class Hockey can provide a turn key program that will include round trip airfare, hotel rooms, meals, bus transportation, tours, friendly games and all tournament ice costs.
