Tournament rules:
Tournament Ice Hockey Championship 2003 carried out according to the regulations IIHF hockey games. Time of game: 3 periods of 15 minutes of pure time, the break between periods is 5 minutes. Teams spend no more than two games per day, according to the approved schedule of games organizing committee. In a case of draw result is appointed shootout – 3 to each team. Next - the first of goals to one player from each team. Busy places are determined by the sum of points obtained in the result of the meetings:
- For the win in regulation time - 3 points;
- For winning shootouts - 2 points;
- Defeat in shootouts - 1 point;
- Defeat in regulation time - 0 points.
When a tie of two or more teams have the advantage given to the team: -According to the results of games together.
-By the difference between the goals in the games of themselves. -At the best goal difference and goals in the tournament.
-More of goals in the tournament.
Team, in default of the game without a valid reason, loses with a score of 0 -5. If a game has been broken or not completed, the team guilty of disrupting the game, loses with a score of 0- 5.
Number of participants - from six to eight teams. With six teams tournament takes place round .
With eight participating teams form two groups. According to the results of games (in a circle) in the group play in A1-B2 and B1-A2 and then, by analogy, in the final match in the appropriate places.
