REGULATIONS
1.
The organizers
of tournament
The organizer of the tournament is MKS „Sokoly”
Torun.
Coorganizer of the tournament is City Hall of Torun.

2. The
competitors.
Players
born in 2001 and younger take part in
this tournament:

Date and time
of tournament.
The tournament will take place on
27-29 December 2014.
The hours of the start of particular matches will be given in „tournament
programme”.
4. Place of
tournament.
The
tournament will take place on two icerinks of Tor-Tor, 23-29 Gen. Józefa Bema
Street, Torun.

5.
Composition of
teams.
ñ The team consists of maximum 22 players including keepers.
ñ In the tournament players born in 2001 and younger can take part. ( in
case of older boys or girls, the approval of Technical Comitee is required, it
can allow for derogation from the rules).
ñ Manager of the team before the start of the tournament, should provide to the Technical Committee:
1.
a list of players with
numbers of players shirts,
2.
health books with current medical examination,
3.
licenses or school ID cards for Polish
teams players,
4.
passport for
foreign teams.
6. The tournament system.
Ø
The organisation of match:
ñ
playing time: 2 x 20 minutes of the
game stop time.
ñ
ice is made after each match . Between the periods there will be no break!
ñ teams playing next match go on ice
immediately after it is made, on a 5-minute warm-up without
the rollers, and then play the game .
ñ body game is allowed.
ñ
The tournament will be played in two stages
ñ
The first group
stage is played in two groups of seven teams,
running "peer" (games 1 - 42).
ñ After all the meetings, the order of teams in groups of 1
to 7 will be determined.
ñ The order of taken places is determined by
the sum of points scored.
ñ When
equal amount of points is
gained by two or more teams, the order of places is determined by:
a)
the two teams:
·
the number of points
scored in a meeting between
these two teams
·
number of goals
scored in the meeting between
these two teams,
·
favorable goal
difference in all meetings of the
group stage of the tournament,
·
greater number of
goals scored in the group stage of
the tournament,
b)
with a larger number of teams:
·
shall be given an additional secondary scores of meetings between these two teams only and on this basis shall
be determined in order.
·
If the secondary scoring several teams
obtain the same number of points,
the rules set out in paragraph. a. are
use.
c)
if using the principles
set out in paragraph. a and b,
you can not determine the order of
teams participating in the tournament,
the draw determines the place of teams,
made by a representative of the Tournament Technical Committee in the presence of representatives of
interested teams.
ñ The second phase of the tournament - the semi-finals with
the participation of teams that
were ranked 1st and 2nd place in
their qualifying group - is played on Monday 29/12/2014. (Game 43 - 44).
ñ During meetings of the second phase of the tournament the winner of each match has to be chosen, so in case of a tie in the
regular time, after the end followed by
a series of penalty kicks, carried
out in accordance with the rules of the IIHF, until there
is a winner.
ñ The third phase of the tournament - is played on Monday 12/29/2014. (Game 45 - 51).
ñ In the third phase of the tournament matches are played to determine the final ranking of the tournament, places 1 - 14.
ñ During meetings of the third phase of the tournament the winner of each match has to be chosen
so in case of a tie in the regular time, after the end followed by a series of penalty kicks, carried out in accordance with the rules of
the IIHF, until there
is a winner.
Ø At the end of the tournament
there will be selected:

best goalkeeper of tournament,
·
best forward of tournament,
·
best defender of tournament,
·
best
player of tournament,
Ø All players will receive
commemorative awarded trophies
and prizes.
7. Rules.
On the ice every meeting in
the final and group games is lead by the two referees.
In the tournament rules of the game of hockey of IIHF and
PZHL hold true.
The player, who received a match penalty shall be
excluded from participation in the next match.
A player who receives two penalties of 10 minutes, will be moved from one match.
8. Technical Comitee
The Organizing
Committee shall appoint for the
duration of the tournament 3-seat
Technical Committee composed of:

Aleksander Zagórski - main referee,
Ø
Michał Bohuszko -
member.
Technical Committee meetings
will validate each day of the tournament and will issue a message that will be published
on the site: www.christmas-cup.pl
The Technical Committee will
also consider any protests of teams, the team requesting the
protest is required to submit a deposit in the amount of 200 zł. Acceptance of
the protest, the deposit will be
returned to the team protesting.
In the case of a negative consideration of the protest, brought deposit shall be forfeited in favor of the organizers of the tournament..
Technical Commission decisions
are final and not subject to appeal.
9. The tournament awards.
Players of the first three teams will receive medals.
Each team will receive a trophy and a certificate for taken place.
Winners will receive individual classification statues and prizes.
10. Final comments.
The organizer reserves the exclusive right to
interpret the provisions of these Rules, which may be the subject of a dispute.
