Results of the RIGA CUP 2013 U-16 tournament

The winner of the RIGA CUP 2013 U-16 tournament is IF Bjorkloven from Sweden. Best forward of this tournament is Sebastiaan Olsson also from IF Bjorkloven and best defence of this tournament is again from IF Bjorkloven from Sweden : Marcus Bjork. Best goalie of this tournament is Adam Werner from Mariestad Bois from Sweden. Point scoring leader is Markus Spinell from H.C. Gherdeina from Italy.

Re-schedule U-16 (second time)

This morning S.K. Riga97 decided not to play anymore due to a disagreement regarding a major penalty. It means we have to re-schedule once again. Numbers 3E, 4E and 3F will play in a new group for places 5 until 7. All other teams will play in the same format as previously communicated. HOWEVER, IT MEANS ALL GAMES AFTER 10.00 HRS HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME AT THE RIGHT ARENA.

CHANGINGS IN GAME SCHEDULE U-16

Neman Grodno still has not arrived. They are not answering the phone anymore, so we have the distinct impression they will not participate. It is too late for today to make any changes, so it means Group D in Akademija will only exists out of 4 teams. The schedule for Saturday and Sunday will be changed.

The U-16 tournament will start with a maximum of 20 teams. We have 18 teams confirmed. Pardaugava (Latvia), Valerenga Ishockey (Norway), IF Bjorkloven (Sweden), Hedemora SK (Sweden), HC Gherdeina (Italy), Avesta BK (Sweden), Guldsmedshytte SK (Sweden), Atlant H.C. (Russia), Saga (Latvia), HC Gomel (Belarus), Mariestad Bois (Sweden), Mälarö Hockey (Sweden), S/G Hockey (Sweden), HC Everest (Estonia), S.K. Riga97 (Latvia), S.K. Riga98 (Latvia), I.F.K. Taby (Sweden) and USA AAA Select (USA).

17 CONFIRMED TEAMS IN THE U-16 TOURNAMENT

The U-16 tournament will start with a maximum of 18, 20 or 24 teams. We have 17 teams confirmed. Pardaugava (Latvia), Valerenga Ishockey (Norway), IF Bjorkloven (Sweden), Hedemora SK (Sweden), HC Gherdeina (Italy), Avesta BK (Sweden), Guldsmedshytte SK (Sweden), Atlant H.C. (Russia), Saga (Latvia), HC Gomel (Belarus), Mariestad Bois (Sweden), Mälarö Hockey (Sweden), S/G Hockey (Sweden), HC Everest (Estonia), S.K. Riga97 (Latvia), S.K. Riga98 (Latvia) and USA AAA Select (USA). K-Sports Team (Slovakia) and Grodno (Belarus) also applied, but both teams did not confirmed their place as per today.

MORE TEAMS APPLIED

We have received the confirmation from S/G Hockey (Sweden). Furthermore HC Everest (Estonia), S.K. Riga (Latvia - 2 teams) applied to the tournament.

MORE CONFIRMATIONS

We have received the confirmation from Malaro Hockey (Sweden) and H.C. Gomel (Belarus).

ONE MORE TEAM APPLIED

Mälarö Hockey (Sweden) applied to the U-16 tournament as well.

STILL PLACES AVAILABLE IN U-16 TOURNAMENT

At the moment we have 9 teams confirmed. These are: Pardaugava (Latvia), Valerenga Ishockey (Norway), IF Bjorkloven (Sweden), Hedemora SK (Sweden), HC Gherdeina (Italy), Avesta BK (Sweden), Guldsmedshytte SK (Sweden), Atlant H.C. (Russia), Saga (Latvia). Also L.A. Stars (Austria), HC Gomel (Belarus), Mariestad Bois (Sweden) and Grodno (Belarus) applied and we are waiting for their final confirmation. Maximum number of teams will be 24.

MORE TEAMS CONFIRMED

We have received the confirmation from Hedemora S.K., Avesta BK and Guldsmedshytte SK (all Sweden), Atlant HC (Russia) and HC Gardena (Italy). Total number of confirmed teams is 8. Furthermore Saga (Latvia), L.A. Stars (Austria) and H.C. Gomel (Belarus) applied to the tournament, while Boras HC withdrawn.

Today IF Bjorkloven (Sweden) confirmed their participation to Riga Cup 2013.

HEDEMORA SK APPLIED

Today we received the application of Hedemora SK (Sweden).

IF BJORKLOVEN APPLIED

We have received the application from IF Bjorkloven (Sweden).

BORAS HC APPLIED

Boras HC from Sweden applied to the tournament.

VALERENGA IF CONFIRMED

Norwegian team Valerenga IF applied to the tournament and confirmed their place as well.

HC GOMEL APPLIED

HC Gomel from Belarus applied to the tournament.

L.A. STARS APPLIED

L.A. Stars from Austria applied for the U-16 tournament.

FIRST TEAM CONFIRMED

Pardaugava (Latvia) confirmed their participation to Riga Cup 2013. Furthermore Saga (Latvia) applied, but has not confirmed yet.
