Turneringens format
(Group A,B and Group Place 9-14)
14 lag är uppdelade i två grupper, A och B med sju lag i varje grupp. Efter de två gruppernas enkelserier spelar de fyra bäst placerade lagen i de båda grupperna slutspel. Femman, sexan och sjuan i vardera gruppen tar med sina poäng och mål från inbördes möten och spelar mot andra gruppens femma, sexa och sjua för att i en enkelserie göra upp om platserna 9-14.
Alla lag kommer att spela nio matcher. Sex matcher spelas i grundserien och tre i slutspelet eller i serien för platserna 9-14. Se under regler för vidare information.
Gruppspel
(grupp A,B och placeringsgrupp 9-14)
Segrande lag får 2 poäng
Förlorande lag får 0 poäng.
Vid oavgjord match får båda lagen 1 poäng.
Segrare i gruppspel blir den som tagit flest poäng.
Om två eller flera lag hamnar på samma poäng räknas först.

4. Lottning (ingen lottning i placeringsserie 9-14)
Slutspel och placeringsmatcher 5-8
Vid oavgjort resultat slås en straff per lag med olika straffläggare tills avgörande sker. Domaren lottar startordning.
Final
Vid oavgjort resultat spelas sudden death i 5 minuter. Om inget lag gjort mål under sudden death sker straffläggning enligt ovan.
Regler
Vi följer Svenska ishockey förbundets regler. Minsta utvisningstid är 1 minut och långa utvisningstiden är 5 minuter. (Tacklingar är tillåtna.)
Speltid
2x15 minuter effektiv tid i samtliga matcher.
Domare
2 domarsystem.
Tröjfärg
Vid lika tröjfärg byter bortalaget.
Timeout
30 sekunders timeout. Varje lag har rätt till en timeout per match.
Protest
Lämnas senast 30 min efter slutsignal, skriftligt till helpdesk. Protestavgiften är 500: - som återlämnas vid godkänd protest. Helpdesk vidarebefodrar till tävlingsledningen för bedömning.

Group matches
(Group A,B and Group Place 9-14)
The fourteen teams taking part are divided into two groups A and B. After the initial group round-robin matches the four best teams in each group proceed to the tournament play-off. Teams finishing fifth, sixth and seventh in each group will take the points and goal from their group against the other two teams and then play against the three teams from the other group for the minor places (9-14).
Two points will be awarded for a win and one for a draw.
The group standing will be determined by the following (in order of precedence):
1. Most Points Gained
2. Best Goal Differential (Goals Scored minus Goals Conceded)
3. Most Goals Scored
4. Result of Head to Head Match
5. Toss of a Coin (not used in Group Place 9-14)
Play-off Draws
In the event of a draw, the winner will be decided by sudden death of penalty shots. Penalties are taken alternately by the teams and by different players.
Final
In the event of a tie in the Championship game the teams will then play an additional overtime period of not more than five (5) minutes with the team scoring first declared the winner. If the game still remains tied the teams will proceed to a penalty shootout. The penalty shoot-out follows the same procedure as described for play-off draws above.
Rules
Rules are according to the Swedish Hockey federation. (Checking is allowed).The minor penalty is 1 minute. The major penalty is 5 minutes.Teams are allowed to field players born January 1st 1998 or later. Decision for dispensation from this rule is taken by the Tournament Committee before the tournament.

Referee
2 referee system.
Jersey Colors
In the event two playing teams have the same colors one team will be requested to use their away games jersey.
Timeouts
Timeouts are 30 seconds long. Each team is allowed only one timeout per game.
Protest
Protests are to be left in writting at the helpdesk. Protests must be left at the latest 30 min after the final whistle.The helpdesk will forward the complaint to the competition leaders.
