General Tournament Procedures
Period Time: 20:00 (x2)
Any exemptions for players older than birth year 2004 to be
informed to Karin Strehlenert.
Ice will be resurfaced in-between
each game.
The Rules for players 2004-2005 from the Swedish Icehockey
Association will apply when noting else is declared.
Teams will be
ranked within their tournament division by the total number of points obtained.
Points will be awarded as follows: Two points for winning the
game and one point for a
tying the game.
If two teams have an equal number of points at the
conclusion, their position of finish will be determined by the following:
- Head-to-head competition
- Goal Differential
- Most goals
- Fair play - fewest penalty
minutes in all round robin games.
- Coin toss
Line-up is to be
given to the secretariat 30 min prior to game start.
A player receiving a game penalty will also be suspended
the next game.
In situations involving three or more tied teams, their position of
finish will be determined by setting up separate ranking including only the
affected teams following below criteria’s:
- Number of points
- Goal Differential
- Most goals
- If still even, goals from all games will
be counted, goal differential will determine.
- Fair play - fewest penalty
minutes in all round robin games.
- Coin toss

Breaking Procedures:
- One five-minute stop clock sudden death
overtime period
- Three-player shootout (players will be
designated on the score sheet prior to game); Visitor shoots first; each player
may shoot only once; most goals win.
- If the shootout ends in a tie, sudden
death shootout using different players until a winner is decided.
