The Men’s Cup is open for 25 teams playing a round robin in 5 groups of 5 teams.

The best two teams from each group will play in the quarter finals, where the top ranked teams will play the second ranked team from another group. The winners play the semi finals and then the final.
The loosing teams in the semifinals will be ranked 3rd.
The total purse is NOK 160.000 (CAN $ 30.000). The winning team gets NOK 60.000 (CAN $ 11.000), and prize money will be awarded to the best 8 teams. Entry fee is NOK 5000 pr. team.

The Women’s Cup is open for 20 teams playing a round robin in 4 groups of 5 teams.

The best two teams from each group will play in the quarter finals, where the top ranked teams will play the second ranked team from another group. The winners play the semi finals and then the final.
The loosing teams in the semifinals will be ranked 3rd.
The total purse is NOK 100.000 (CAN $ 18.500). The winning team gets NOK 40.000 (CAN $ 7.400), and prize money will be awarded to the best 8 teams. Entry fee is NOK 3.500 pr. team.

The matches start Thursday 24. September.
Eight men’s teams will play at 11:00 hrs, and eight ladies teams will play at 13:10 hrs. A few teams play their first match Friday morning, meaning that we can be flexible with regards to tight travel arrangements.

Tied games will be decided with one extra end, and tie-breakers will be played to qualify the teams with equal records for the quarter finals according to WCF rules.
Semi finals are scheduled for Sunday 27. September at 13:00 hrs, and the finals at 16:00 hrs.

Presentation of prizes and the Canadian Embassy Fair Play Award take place at Sunday at 18:15 hrs.
