Tuxer Spring Cup 2012 (U 14)
(in association with Skoda and DIF Team 98)

Please note that Tuxer Spring Cup is not sanctioned for any type of select teams. Therefore make sure to honor this requirement in order to avoid any breach of the rules and regulation which apply for this cup.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS:

U14 teams with players born 1998 or later. Players born earlier than 1998 must have been exempted during the season as well as approved by DIF before entering the cup.

Minimum number of players are 15 plus 2 goalies and maximum number of players are 20 plus 2 goalies.


RULES:

Rules according to the Swedish ice-hockey federation rules and regulations.

Minor penalty - 2 minutes and then according to the Swedish ice-hockey federation rules and regulations.

Game time - 2x20 min (no warming on ice prior to game. Referee will start game immediately)

Number of games - 6 games for each team

Game protokol - Any change in line up must be made a minimum of 60 minutes prior to the effected game.

Group games - 2 groups of 4 teams in each group. Group games is played in a straight series giving each team, 3 games in total.

Conference Finals - Teams positioned 1st and 2nd from the 2 groups during Group games form a new group to determine position 1-4 in a straight series. Teams positioned 3rd and 4th from Group games form a new group to determine position 5-8 in a straight series. Thus giving each team 3 matches during conference finals. No resultsfrom Group games is brought to the conference final except penalty minutes.

Position I - If 2 teams end up with the same amount of points their position will be determined in the following order;

1) Plus / minus, Number of goals scored in comparison to number of goals conceded
2) Most scored goals
3) Result from the game when the two teams played each other
4) Fair play (least number of penalty minutes)
5) Coin Flip (lottery)

Position II - If more than 2 teams end up with the same amount of points their position will be determined in the following order;

1) Plus / minus, Number of goals scored in comparison to number of goals conceded
2) Most scored goals
3) Fair play (least number of penalty minutes)
4) Heads /Tail (lottery)

POINTS:

Win - generates 3 points
Draw - generates 1 point
Loss - generates 0 points

COMPLAINT:

Any complaint must be made, maximum 15 minutes after a game is finished to the Cup Committee. Complaint must be written. A charge of 1 000 Skr will be charged to the team that wants a complaint reviewed. Interpretations and judgments are made by the cup committee in consultation with match referee.

ADMINISTRATION:

Teams must have registered all players who are participating during the cup on www.cuponline.nu It is important that correct number is registered on both home jersey as well as away jersey for each player.


PRIZES:

1st, 2nd and 3rd team in the tournament will receive a trophy.
The cup committee will award individual players during the tournament. The tournament best goalkeeper, defenceman, forward and the most valuable player (MVP) will be selected.
