We are pleased to invite your club to participate in the 10th Annual International U-15 AAA Tournament “AIK world CHAMPION cup” to be held in Stockholm (Sweden) for players born in 1997/1998 on April 27 - April 30 2012. The tournament will start on Friday 27th at 8:00 a.m. and will be finished on Monday 30th around 8:00 p.m.

THE TOURNAMENT
Round Robin games with 14 teams divided into two groups with 7 teams in each group. The four best placed teams in each group will meet in quarterfinal games and further to final and 5-8 placement games. Each team is guaranteed seven games (3x20 min). A team exists to a minimum of 17 players and a maximum of 22 players (including goalies), unless otherwise agreed with the organizing committee.

ARENA/STADIUM
All games will be played at the twin arena Stora Mossen IP, Bromma in Stockholm. Stora Mossen IP is located approx 40 minutes by car from the international airport Arlanda, and approx 10 minutes from the beautiful downtown Stockholm. The arena is a seat stadium and has very nice cafe that also serves hot food.

TOURNAMENT TROPHIES
In addition to trophies for first, second and third place the winning team get a challenge prize and prizes to the player of the game, etc.

HIGH SERVICE AND SATISFACTION
AIK World Cup CHAMPION UNDER-15 is a very appreciated tournament where service and comfort is something we are focusing a lot on. We therefore take care of your team in the best way as regards accommodation, food and all the logistics around the tournament. We work with Scandic Hotels Alvik and Scandic Hotel Bromma. Both hotels are very close to the stadium and close to public transport. Stockholm City is only 10 minutes by subway from the hotels.

MEDIA FOLLOWING THE TOURNAMENT
The tournament will be followed by AIK Ice Hockey’s own media department that continually cover the event on our website www.aikhockey.se.

If you want to follow the results from the tournament and how your team is located in the different groups, you can do so via www.cuponline.se in english.

A TOURNAMNET FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
AIK world CHAMPION CUP UNDER-15 is an ice hockey tournament for the whole family. We offer all leaders and parents hotels and accommodation at very reasonable prices. You stay at the two hotels that the teams stays at and and we present the room rates further down in this document.

MAXIMUM PLAYERS AND COACHES
A team exists to a minimum of 17 players and a maximum of 22 players (including goalie’s), unless otherwise is agreed with the organizing committee. 3 officials coaches are allowed to be counted in the team. The tournament only allows players born 1997/1998.

REGISTRATION FEE
The Registration fee is SEK 8 000 per team and should be paid as soon as possible, no later than April 13th, 2012. The registration fee is nonrefundable. The organizer of the AIK World Champion Cup reserves the right to determine which teams may be admitted if the number of registered teams exceeds 14.

PLAYER’S FEE
The players fee is SEK 2 900 per participating player with hotel accommodation and SEK 2 100 per participating player for teams without hotel accommodation. The player fee shall be paid no later than April 17, 2012 (Team leaders with hotel accommodation are only paying for the hotel, SEK 2 100)

- Complementary meal for coach or manager (maximum 3)
- The minimum of seven games
- Gold, Silver and Bronze medals

- Hotel room accommodation (4 nights)
- Airport and ferry terminal transfers to/from the hotel

IMPORTANT DATES

Schedules for the tournaments will be worked out when the application date has been expired and will be forwarded to participating clubs in the end of April 2012.

THE TOURNAMENT

REFEREES
2 referees is applied in the round robin games and 3 in the final games.

RULES
The tournament is played under all applicable rules of the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation. All players and their equipment must be insured, both for games and leisure time. Full contact allowed by sanction from Stockholm Ice Hockey Association.

All match results are presented on the screen inside the arena at www.cuponline.se.

TEAM HOST
Each team receives a specially appointed team host that acts as the team’s contact person during the entire tournament. Team host receives upon arrival and show halls all facilities and submit detailed applications. Team host also takes care of handling all around game protocol and times for the match, meals and other preparations. Team host will also ensure that the team is ready in time for the match and lead them to the right booth. Team host ensures that the team get fruit, drinks and sandwiches to their locker room.

Teams will be lodged at the Scandic Hotel in Bromma.
4 nights included in player’s fee (twins and triplet rooms). Breakfast is included.
