Dear ice hockey friends,

let us invite you to XX. International ice hockey tournament for youth  CHRISTMAS CUP 2018,  to be held in town Bilina, in the Czech Republic. Usually come to Christmas Cup guest teams from European countries like from Russia, England, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Belarus, Slovakia, Ukraine, Latvia, Slovenia and Poland. In past 3 years have attended also teams from Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

For your information:  Winners of  U14 CHRISTMAS CUP 2017 was team HC Rytiri Kladno  (CZE)

Age category and basic information:  

U 14 - boys born 2005/2006 - 20. - 22.12. 2018

Girls can be max. two (2) years older.

Cup start – on Thursday 20:th December 2018  - in the morning at 8:00
Cup finish – on Saturday 22:nd December 2018 – in the afternoon at 16:00
Game time 3x 15 min. effective/stopped time 

Game level – AAA/AA, very good Czech level

Ice-rink – ICE-ARENA in Bilina (ev. also Most) 

Every team has guaranteed 5 games in the tournament

Full attendant program will be ready for all participants. Together with official gala ceremonials in the beginning and in the end of the tournament there is a possibility to participate in skill competitions:

4 players and 1 goalkeeper can participate of each team.

They will compete in following disciplines – speed skating, shooting on targets, slalom and riding on goal.

NOTE: As a condition of acceptance, out-of-town teams must stay at an of cuporganizer´s authorized hotel. Several options are offered! 

Accommodation will be managed at cup organizer authorised hotels as follows:

At HOTEL CASCADE in town Most
(distance 13 km from ice-arena in Bilina, 13 min. to drive by bus) 

price – 49 € per night and person in business class, inclusive full board (lunch and dinner served at ice-rink restaurant)

price – 55 € per night and person with full board - Superior Business Class (lunch and dinner served at Hotel Cascade restaurant - three-coursed menu)

price - 40 € per night and person with only breakfast, suitable for parents of team players

 Note:  Lunch and dinner will be served in the restaurant at ice-arena in Bilina
 

* Players are usually accommodated in triple rooms, other people - coaches, leaders, parents - in double/twin rooms.
   Limited number of single rooms can be obtained (1-2 per team), otherwise for additional extra cost.

Cheaper option: 
At HOTEL CASANOVA in town Duchcov
(distance 9 km from ice-arena in Bilina, 10 min. to drive by bus)

- Price 45 € person/night with full board - breakfast and dinner served at hotel, lunch at ice-arena restaurant
- Price 35 € person/night - for parents - only bed and breakfast

Payment:

– Entry fee – as soon as possible to get confirmed place in the tournament

-  for meals, hotel accommodation and ev. bus transfers 6 weeks before tournament starts (according to an invoice from the cup organizer)

-  all your payments you will make directly to cup organizer´s bank account mentioned above

Bus transport

– it is approx. 100 km from the Airport Prague to Most or Bílina

-  price for bus transfers is 650 € to Bílina and back to the airport

The city Most
Most is the small city under the Ore Mountains, approx. 100 km north of the capital city Prague. Modern architecture is for this city typical, with a few historical elements, which are survived from ancestral city Most – today nonexistent because of coal mining. It is possible to visit especially moved church of assumption of the Virgin Mary and the view point from the 12th century – The castle Hnevin. Not only landmark lovers have one’s own back. Horse-race area Hipodrom, race circuit Autodrom, but also water area Aquadrom and many others, so is the city Most, too.

The city Bilina

Bílina is the small city under the Ore Mountains, approx. 90 km north of the capital city Prague. The city Bílina lies in northwest Bohemia, 12 km from the town Most, and pour through this way a little river of the same name. A view point round about and national nature reserve at the same time is a phonolite massif Boren (539 m over SL). Very important part of the city is baths Kyselka with a trim forest park and swimming pool. Especially local castle from the 17th century and the Saint Peter and Paul church invite the visitors.
