Welcome to HAKI Cup for U11 E2-05 players
on 1.-3. April 2016.
Harjun Kiekko is a new ice hockey club
that was created through the merging of NuPS Hockey and Lohjan Kisaveikot during
2014.
The tournament scope is 32 teams, 16 of
which play at the AAA level and 16 teams at the AA level. The tournament is
open for teams outside Finland as well.
For the round robin, the participants are
divided into groups of four for both the AAA and AA category. After the round
robin the teams are divided into four groups of eight teams for the cup stage. The
two best teams of each round robin group will create the higher tier group,
while the two remaining round robin teams will be pooled into the lower tier
pool.
All four cup stage groups: AAA, AAA-, AA and
AA- play three round robin games and three cup stage games. The best three cup
stage teams of each group will be awarded with medals and trophies.
All 4 ice rinks used by HAKI will be in
service for the tournament. The Kisakallio Sports Institute will serve as a HQ
for the tournament and offers accommodation for teams.
The duration of the games is 2 x 15min
effective game time or max 50min. The medal games duration is 2x20 min effective game time..
One MVP player is chosen from each team at
the end of the tournament.
Teams may reserve meals for Saturday and
Sunday in advance. Teams staying at the Kisakallio Sports Institue receive complementary meals.
The HAKI Cup is an annual U11 event of
Harjun kiekko hosted during the first week of April. Next year the tournament is for 2006 born and will be held 31.3-02.04.2017.
