One of Europe's largest junior hockey tournaments will be held in Riga in 2012 again.
Riga Cup 2011 hosted 127 teams from 18 different countries in 8 different age groups.
The tournaments will be held over 5 weekends with the first one starting on March 30 - 2012 and the last one ending on April 29 - 2012.
All tournaments will be played in Riga - Latvia and are open for AAA and AA teams from allover the world.
The format of the tournament is that way that it is attractive for teams of all levels.
Our 2012 tournament dates are:
March 30/31 & April 1: U-12
April 6/7/8/9: U-13 and U-15 (Easter weekend - 4 day tournament)
April 13/14/15: U-16
April 20/21/22: U-14
April 27/28/29: U-10 and U-18
Riga Cup is organized by EITC tournaments together with E.J.I.H.L. in cooperation with Pardaugava Sporta Skola.
In the 6th edition in 2011 we have had teams from Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Latvia, Russia, France, Austria, Switzerland, England, Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland.
We hope Riga will be the Hockey (tournament) Capital of Europe again in April 2012 with a month of high level ice hockey and unforgettable weekends for everybody with great memories in Riga - Latvia!

Results of the RIGA CUP U-15 tournament
Winner of the RIGA Cup U-15 tournament 2012 is Moscow Pinguins from Russia. Best forward of this tournament is number 29 Simon Sandstrom from Brynas IF. Best defence of this tournament is number 8 Marcus Bjork from Bjorkloven and best goalie is number 20 Vladislav Lesnyhk from Moscow Penguins. Point scoring leader is number 29 Simons Sandstrom from Brynas IF.
